Update 5th January
5 January 2021 (by admin)
Dear Parents and carers,
Following yesterday’s announcement, we will now start the new term with a move into a third national lockdown. Clearly this will present further challenges, but as before, we remain committed to providing high quality learning for the children.
As mentioned in my email yesterday, we will start to use Microsoft teams to deliver some live and recorded teaching input. I am aware that some of you have not been able to find the user names and passwords that were sent out for every child in November. If you have contacted us to say this, please bear with us we are working as hard as possible to reply to the messages. There will be teething trouble as we try new technology. We are all learning a new way of working but we feel it will enhance the learning that we can offer. I am also aware that you may be juggling home learning and the different needs of several children.
We have a group of key workers’ children in school. Staff are working on a rota basis teaching in school and from home. The children in school should attend from 9 am to 3.15 pm and should wear school uniform. We are providing school dinners if booked. We continue to follow the Covid safety procedures in school and our Risk Assessment has been fully updated.
I will be in school every day. I will be available if you need to call. I will update you as soon as I have further information.
