Update 8th January
8 January 2021 (by admin)
Dear Parents and carers,
At the end of a busy week I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone for once again adapting to the ever changing circumstances.
Firstly, to our staff who are working incredibly hard both in school and at home delivering our school based and remote learning. As I have said before, we are very lucky to have such dedicated staff who have responded positively to constantly changing expectations.
As always, the children have been amazing and we are pleased with their participation in school, and in online lessons. We already have seen a lot of work uploaded to Tapestry and Seesaw. We have clear behaviour expectations for the remote learning and we will contact parents individually if responses are not appropriate. We are also taking measures to limit the access to some features during the learning sessions. We have access to technical support, and we will continue to adapt as we move forwards. We appreciate the feedback that we have received so far.
We have been in contact with the families who have requested support, and will continue to check in with families if we have concerns about participation in learning.
Thank you for helping to set this up and for supporting your children at home. We know that many of you are trying to work, whilst meeting the needs of more than one child. We are told that there are a lot of cases of Covid in the local area. By having small groups in school, we are able to reduce the contact between different households, and help prevent further spread of the disease.
I am receiving communications from the DFE and the Local Authority on a daily basis, and I will write again with further updates.
