Update 29th January
29 January 2021 (by admin)
You will have seen this week that the government review of the lockdown, including full school opening will take place on the 15th February, and that the anticipated date for more children returning to school is March 8th. We do not yet know what this will look like, but I am hoping that more information nearer that date will allow us to plan in detail and to keep you informed. In the meantime, we will continue to provide our programme of remote learning, along with the school based provision for key workers’ children and vulnerable children. Thank you for working with us through this situation. Once again we have been really impressed by all of the learning that has taken place this week.
The following training has been promoted by our Local Authority.
Is your child using Teams for remote learning? Are you frozen in fear about helping them as Microsoft Teams for Education is alien to you, and your child? Do you feel like it is just too scary to even try and get your device ready for them to use? Come to 2, two hour sessions where we will help answer any questions and give you a guided explore around TEAMS and any questions you or your child have. The first session will be offered online through ZOOM, just one click and you will be on, and the 2nd session we will get you online onto TEAMS, so you can experience what your children will access for their learning. This will open up doors for your children to learn, whilst remote learning is in place as well as help you to access online support that may be holding you back as a parent.
What have you got to lose? Give it a go!

Please look out for details of a creative project that we are sending out to all families. We are looking for ways to bring the whole school community together.
Please see below for an event being promoted by Coggeshall library:
This February half term we will have 2 free online events available for our customers. Both are a ‘story hunt’ run by storyteller John Kirk. A story hunt is an interactive adventure that takes the hunter into a world of wonder and imagination for 30 minutes of family fun. These events incorporate popular folk and fairy tales and are suitable for families with children aged 3+. Get ready for a virtual storytelling experience like no other as you take part in a story-led scavenger hunt that will turn your house upside down!
