Update 12th February
12 February 2021 (by admin)
Dear Parents and carers,
We have reached the end of another half term in lockdown. The snow disruption at the beginning of the week was another challenge. However, we enjoyed seeing the pictures of the children playing and enjoying themselves.
I would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work this half term. We are pleased with the learning that we have been able to offer remotely and in school. Thank you for your positive feedback and encouragement. As I said previously, we do not know what the planned announcement on the 22nd February will mean for schools. I attended a Zoom meeting for headteachers with the local authority yesterday, and despite being in regular contact with the DFE, they had no additional information. We are now used to responding to an ever changing situation, and I am sure we will continue to do so next half term.
Headteachers have been asked to contact Track and Trace next week if there are positive cases of Coronavirus in the school based members of the school community. This refers to children or adults who have been in school during this week. I will check the email@example.com email each morning if you need to report a case within your family or immediate support bubble.
If your child has been in school, please continue to check your emails from school over the next few days, in case I need to inform you of a positive result.
Teachers will not be setting or responding to work next week. We will resume school and remote learning on the 22nd February.
Have a good week.
