Update 12th March
12 March 2021 (by admin)
It has been lovely to see all of the children back in school this week. They have settled well. We have been very impressed with their behaviour and their positive attitude to learning.
We continue to keep the class bubbles as separate as possible, following the current guidance for schools.
As you will be aware, we have had to isolate one class this week for 10 days. This is an unfortunate reminder that we need to remain vigilant and observe the Covid safety measures at all time. Please do not send your child to school if they have any of the Covid symptoms.
I am aware that some families are participating in the household testing programme. As a school, we are not given the names of participating households. Therefore, if you have a positive result from the home tests, please contact us as soon as possible and follow the advice given by Track and Trace.
Our thanks to all parents and carers for wearing a face covering as you drop off and pick up your children. This has helped to reassure staff.
Please can you return any loaned resources to the school office as soon as possible. This includes laptops and reading books. We will retain the devices from the DFE loan scheme in school for the time being. Obviously we hope that they will not be needed in the same way.
Red Nose day -Friday 19th March
The children can wear something red to school. We will set up an online payment option for donations. To ensure the safety of our office staff, we will not be able to accept cash donations.
