Dear Parents, Carers,
Today is the start of the summer term and you are all very much in our thoughts. Following the government announcement yesterday, you will know that there are no immediate plans for schools to re-open. We will follow government guidance and will contact you if the situation changes in any way.
Our aim is to continue to provide home learning activities which have been posted on our website for the week at the link below:
The children are invited to post examples of their learning on Tapestry and Seesaw. This is our way of maintaining contact with you and your children. If we do not see any engagement with any of the home learning activities including My Maths and Times Tables Rockstars, we will contact you to offer support. We know that home learning will be very different for the children and that some will find it easier than others. Our planning for the learning when school reopens will take this into account to ensure that all children will be given the support they need.
I am in school each day and available to talk to you at any time if you have any wellbeing concerns.
We also have a dedicated email address for queries about home learning which is monitored regularly.
School remains open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children. There is a rota for staff to come into school and we have weekly remote SLT meetings to ensure that we keep in touch.
The Governing Body is holding remote meetings to maintain and review school procedures.
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to the day when we are able to welcome all of the children back to school.
